Dr.Michael George

Dr George graduated from James Cook University in Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Following graduation Dr George returned to New South Wales and worked in a private dental practice and was committed to further education in surgical dentistry. Since then, he worked in a number of dental practices in Sydney where part of his role was mentoring new dental graduates. He then pursued his passion for teaching by becoming a clinical educator at the University of Sydney in the faculty of Medicine and Health. Dr George understands the importance of evidence-based practice and continues to be involved in research projects to stay at the forefront of the latest techniques in dentistry, he has contributed to publications in peer-reviewed journals, most recently the oral surgery journal.

Dr George is passionate about the discipline of oral surgery, as such he proceeded to successfully complete the primary examinations with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and acquired a graduate diploma in surgical dentistry from the university of Sydney and a fellowship status with the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry. In addition to this, he is a member of the Australian Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral Surgeons and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, tennis, and spending time with his family.
