Till what age is my child eligible?
Your child qualifies for CDBS till they are 17 years old.
What happens when the benefit cap is reached?
Once the child reaches the limit of $1,026 cap over the two year period, they will no longer be entitled to further benefits under CDBS till it is renewed.
How is 2 year period for benefits calculated?
The 2 year period starts at the beginning of the calendar year in which your child becomes eligible and gets their first dental service.
If you don’t use the full amount within the 2 calendar years, you can’t use the remaining funds. You’ll have to wait for a new 2 year cover period to start.
