Dock Dental strives to provide our patient the best experience during our appointments. That includes the wait times and equal opportunity for all patients to book in their desired times. To allow us to provide the best booking experience for all our patients, we have put together these policies which apply to all appointment bookings.
Appointment bookings can be done in person, over the phone or online. All appointment booked are considered confirmed when booked and is specific to the time and the service provider.
We know that dental appointment might not be one that you would always remember, For those reasons we will remind you of your appointment based on when you took the appointment.
When booking a new appointment, a prepayment is taken based on the purpose and the duration of the appointment. The clinic reception or online platform will process this while you book the appointment. You might be asked to process through our online payment platform when booking through the phone.
This prepayment will be credited towards your final bill. In the case where multiple appointments are needed within a short time, a single prepayment will be carried forward to the next appointment and settled on the final bill.
Unless mentioned otherwise on our offers or by one of our team members, all appointments will have a consultation fee as a minimum fee, regardless of whether you choose to go forward with treatment and services required or opt out of them. The cosultation fee will be dependent on the length of the appointment and the age group.
All Saturday appointments will incur a non-refundable prepayment of $100. This prepayment will be credited towards your final bill.

We understand that sometimes things do not work out as planned. For that, we allow flexibility and rescheduling of your appointments. Such changes must be made at least 48 hours before the appointment time.
In the case of changes to the appointment with less than 48 hours of notice, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee based on the duration and purpose of the appointment.
We have a strict policy against failing to attend the appointment without notice. In such cases, your prepayment will be deducted as a late cancellation fee. In the event where such fee is more than the prepayment amount, you will be required to pay the deficit before or on the day of the next appointment.
We also reserve the right to refuse future appointments in case of multiple No Shows or failure to clear such fees.
We are very conscious of running every appointment on time and provide a fair service to all of our patients. Late arrival can disrupt service for other patients and our team. It will also limit the services we can provide you within the time allotted for you.
We advise all of our patients to arrive at least 10 minutes before the appointment for their first visit and 5 minutes before the appointment time for subsequent visits so that we can run the appointments on time.
Arriving significantly late to your appointment will result in cancellation of the visit and will be charged a cancellation fee, which is
Cancellation fees based on the appointment duration will be charged for any of the scenarios outline above, which includes late notice of booking changes, no shows and arriving late. In such cases, your prepayment will be deducted as a cancellation fee. In the event where cancellation fee is more than the prepayment amount, you will be required to pay the deficit before or on the day of the next appointment.
The fees will be as follows
Up to 30 mins appointments – $50
31 mins to 1 hour appointments – $100
Saturday appointments less than 1 hour -$100
More than 1 hour appointments – based on type of treatments booked
Any booking that might require additional preparation such as an anaesthetist or a special equipment will incur an additional cancellations fees.
